House Concert in Philadelphia, PA So, what is a house concert? Well, a basic scenario would play out like this: you invite me over to your house, and I play a bunch of songs for you and your family and friends. That's it! If you love connecting with your friends and you love music, planning a house concert is probably going to be something you would really enjoy doing. If you've never been to or hosted a house concert, I understand that it might sound a little confusing. But check out www.concertsinyourhome.com, and you'll find some really helpful information on how it all works. There are a few free PDF guides for hosting house concerts, and it's free for you to become a member! You can start browsing right away! House concerts are pretty much my favorite (besides smiling) cause I can really get to know the people I play for (and with!). These events are so much fun, and so memorable, that it’s a growing national trend. American Airlines did a story last December, and CNN did recently as well. Are you a little bit curious? Watch the short video that people use to promote these great events to their friends. http://youtube.com/watch?v=try-z4-4h04 If you think your living room is too small, you’ll LOVE this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S8TQmolyuHg Also check out this video that was recorded live at a house concert I did recently: http://www.youtube.com/user/inthehouse1203#p/a/u/2/WbuyQrKl6CA I’d love to play for you and your friends. It doesn't have to be a holiday or special occasion to have a house concert. Just pick any old night that you're tired of being bored and host one! The website I referred you to also has information on what they're calling "Dinner and a Song," which is a smaller house concert on a weeknight over dinner with a few friends. It doesn't have to be a weekend night or be some huge ordeal! I've enjoyed some really incredible experiences on the road this year, and I've been inspired to write tons of new songs. I'm looking forward to sharing a few of them with you...hopefully in your living room. Email me with your ideas, and we'll get it started! ![]() ![]() ![]() |
